THERMAL DRONE
PET SEARCH & RECOVERY
FROM SEATTLE TO LONGVIEW WASHINGTON

MISSION
Our mission is to reunite lost pets with their loving families in our Washington communities. We are dedicated to providing compassionate support and effective search strategies to maximize the chances of your pet’s safe return home. Your peace of mind is our priority, and we are here to help every step of the way.
PET RECOVERY
A survey by ASPCA found that 15% of pet owners have experienced a lost pet in the last 5 years.
If you are part of this population, you know the range of emotions that follow. Afterall, pets are a significant part of your life.
The chances of finding your pet through conventional on-the-ground searches is exhausting and inefficient. We believe that Yelm and the Surrounding Areas stands to benefit greatly from a fast-acting service using thermal drone technology to greatly improve the odds of finding lost pets in a fraction of the time.

THERMAL TECHNOLOGY
Technology has advanced tremendously in the last 10 years. Today, there are commercially available drones that are capable of scanning vast areas in a very short time.
Adding thermal image technology to the mix serves as a force-multiplier by highlighting temperature differences on the ground.
Thermal imaging helps to visualize animals on the ground from a considerable distance.
Your Membership will give you access to thermal drone search and recovery efforts by Skyline Pet Recovery.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHY IS THERE A 14-DAY WAITING PERIOD?
Membership plans are designed to serve as a preventative plan. Nonmembers who need urgent support must choose the Non-member Recovery Search for $249. A 14-day waiting period prevents nonmembers from circumventing this process for the purpose of receiving immediate services at the monthly rate.
DOES THE SERVICE ONLY COVER MY HOME AREA?
No. Pets may become lost while at the dog park, out on a walk, or even out camping away from home. As long as the location is within the boundaries of our serviceable area, we will come to your location. Use the Coverage Map to see serviceable areas.
CAN I USE MY SERVICE CALL FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S LOST PET?
Yes. Similar to AAA services, you may use your service call for another person. The members must be present upon arrival or place the request from their online account.
WHAT ROLE DOES THE PET OWNER PLAY IN THE OPERATION?
Pet owners play a significant role in the operation. Once the drone operator arrives, you will work with them develop a strategy for the search. This includes sharing photos or images of the pet, identifying pet behaviors, common walking paths in the area and other factors. If a pet is located, the owner must retrieve, secure, and handle the pet. This may involve moving through difficult terrain in uncomfortable climates.
WILL THE DRONE OPERATOR BE AVAILABLE RIGHT AWAY?
In most cases, a time will be scheduled to meet at the service location, likely during the evening or early morning hours when thermal imagery performs best. It is possible that your pet will travel a greater distance during this time. However, the pet owner and drone operator can develop a strategy to cover the most likely travel paths.
WHAT IF MY PET TRAVELS INTO A RESTRICTED AREA?
If a pet travels into a restricted airspace, the drone operator will not be able to search in that area. The search mission may still continue, but the search will only be conducted in permitted airspace. If the pet travels onto private property, the search may be conducted, but retrieval of the pet will be at the owner's own risk.
WILL YOU HELP RETRIEVE MY PET IF IT'S FOUND?
The drone operator must remain in control of the aircraft at all times. This limits our ability to retrieve a pet. If conditions allow and the pet is not located on restricted or private property, the drone operator may help with retrieval when safe to do so.
